I have just heard that the joint mechanism between the government
and the LTTE would have three layers and the top or the national layer will
consist of a three member committee. My natural question is why it is limited to
three members only? Possibility of deadlock always will be higher in a very
small committee or a very large committee. I wonder whether it is
advisable to enlarge the committee to about six, perhaps keeping the same
composition.
